Emmarv is a small, invite-only app run by Odd Hours Labs (“we,” “us”) for private friend groups to run time-boxed photo challenges. By using Emmarv, you agree to these terms.
Emmarv lets a Group run an “Album”: a shared date window where each member posts one photo per day, no retakes after posting. Groups vote weekly on their favorite photos by pairwise comparison, and each Album ends with a shareable Recap page. Access is invite-only, via a code or link shared by an existing group member.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Emmarv. By using the service, you confirm you meet this requirement.
You retain ownership of the photos you post. By posting a photo, you grant Emmarv a license to store, display, and include it in your group’s Album pages and Recap page, for as long as your account and that content exist. If you co-author a photo with another member, you’re confirming you have their okay to post it on their behalf for that day.
You agree not to use Emmarv to:
We may remove content or suspend access for accounts that violate these terms.
When an Album ends, its Recap page is reachable by anyone who has the link. The link itself is the access control, not your login. Don’t share a Recap link outside people you’re comfortable seeing that content.
Emmarv is provided “as is,” run as a small independent project. We make no guarantees about uptime, data durability, or fitness for any particular purpose. Back up anything irreplaceable elsewhere if it matters to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Odd Hours Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Emmarv, including loss of photos or data.
You can stop using Emmarv at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms, or discontinue the service entirely with reasonable notice to active groups where practical.
If these terms change in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date above and, where practical, let the group know directly.
